Most People Don't know that the City of Dallas has Special Laws protecting Cyclists.

In fact, Section 28-58.1 of the Dallas City Code specifically defines a cyclist to be a "vulnerable road user" and Section 28-58.2 offers special legal protection to them as such.

Unless specifically prohibited, cyclists are allowed to share the roadway with motor vehicles. With the exception of a few circumstances, cyclists travelling slower than traffic are expected to ride on the far right side of the road.
